Review:
Disclaimer: ARC provided by Netgalley, opinions are my own.
Just like its name, One cup at a time, the book follows its theme throughout the various journeys of different talking animals who would make you fall in love with them.
I had a very good time reading through this graphic novel and coming forth of different characters’ experiences and how sweet, and supportive others are around them. These little animals made me want to have them as friends in real life but that is not possible is it? or I’d switch them up with my real-life ones.
The colours in the book are warm and sometimes according to the mood of the event, overall they make you comforted and would brighten up your day. The illustrations in the book are lovely.
It is emotional at the same time being light hearted.
If you want to have a table book, consider having a look at this one.
I’d love to suggest this book to people who are trying to navigate their mental health and relationships and want to see how to see this in positive light easily without pressurising themselves.
Everyone has a different journey through their life and no one’s is better than others’, believe and make things better for yourself.
Sneek peaks of some scenes I loved:
